#1-When it is cold in your home or apartment, keep your heater low or off and put more clothes on, you reduce your energy bill significantly. If you get hot you can always downgrade into shorts or whatever is comfortable.
#2-Instead of leaving all your appliances, laptops, t.v. , microwaves, plugged in, when you go to sleep just keep the important things plugged in and unplug everything else, this really reduces your energy consumption, I know I did it last month and saw a big difference.
